At Redica Systems, we know that regulatory and quality data is most valuable when it can be easily integrated into your systems of record, analytics platforms, and risk management workflows. That’s why we provide multiple options for accessing and consuming our data, so you can choose the approach that best fits your infrastructure, data strategy, and business needs.
We’ll highlight the 4 ways to access Redica data, as well as describe the types of datasets available, the controls you can expect, and show examples of what the data looks like.

1. API
Redica data can be accessed seamlessly through API (Application Programming Interface). Designed for flexibility and scalability, Redica API supports real-time data access, enabling users to integrate and consume data from different quality and regulatory data objects.
How it works:
Redica API is built following RESTful (Representational State Transfer) design principles, and can be accessed over HTTPS or Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol. The API endpoints can be used for accessing specific set of data objects using filters or for bulk download of certain datasets. Your team can use the API to integrate Redica data directly into your data lake, MDM system, or BI environment.
Best for:
- Teams requiring programmatic access to Redica data securely over the internet.
- Use cases requiring bulk download of data files for batch ingestion.
- Teams that cannot leverage other Zero-ETL options like Snowflake data sharing.
Controls:
- Redica-provided API key for authenticated secure access.
- Redica-provided API documentation following OpenAPI specifications.
- Paginations and Rate Limits to ensure stability and availability of the service for seamless data access.
2. Snowflake Secure Data Sharing
For customers already using Snowflake as their cloud data platform, this is the fastest, most scalable option. Leveraging Snowflake’s Secure Data Sharing capabilities, Redica Systems can share data with Customers who also use Snowflake as their Cloud Data Platform.
How it works:
Redica leverages Snowflake Secure Data Sharing to replicate its datasets as read-only objects directly into your Snowflake instance. Since our data already resides in Snowflake, no copying or movement is required—customers access live data in near real-time.
Best for:
- High-frequency or large-volume data consumption.
- Teams who want zero-ETL integration into existing Snowflake pipelines.
- Customers needing near real-time access.
Controls:
- Data is read-only in your environment.
- Role-based access and governance enforced via Snowflake.
- Data freshness aligned with Redica’s update cycles.
3. File-Based Sharing
Redica supports secure file transfer via SFTP for batch data delivery. There is support for all standard file formats like CSV, Parquet, JSON, etc. The data can be pushed to customer provided AWS S3 buckets or other cloud storage.
How it works:
Redica configures automated data pipelines to ensure timely delivery of data to the cloud destination. The data is encrypted in transit and at rest for data security. Your team can then ingest these files directly into your data lake, MDM system, or BI environment.
Best for:
- Ideal for teams that prefer file-based workflows.
- Teams with existing cloud environment setup for data feeds from external parties.
- Use cases that are suitable for data ingestion in batches at a set frequency.
Controls:
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Data transferred using secure protocols like SFTP.
- Access controls of files at the destination set by customer teams based on security requirements.
4. Managed Business Intelligence (BI) Environments
Redica can setup pre-configured, hosted BI environment for quick insights. These can be setup as secure multi-tenant or dedicated environments depending on customer needs. The managed BI tool allows for online exploration of data through interactive visualizations and filters. Redica Systems can share data with Customers by allowing data downloads and periodic exports of reports.
How it works:
Redica uses these pre-configured, hosted BI environments with customers for fast prototyping of new dashboards, data visualizations, relevancy scoring, and delivery of data. Redica can syndicate data to the BI environment based on the usecase needs, and provide online access to your teams for exploring prebuilt dashboards, collaborating on prototyping and testing new reports & dashboards, and exporting required data for offline access.
Best for:
- Teams who want to validate use cases before investing in integration.
- Business users who prefer low-code/no-code access to data.
- Fast prototyping of dashboards and reports.
Controls:
- Access scoped to authorized users following Role-based Access Controls.
- Ability to export filtered datasets for offline analysis.
- Report or Workbook-level governance with version control.
Roadmap & Future Integrations
Native Integrations with Partner Systems
Redica is building native integration capabilities with widely used SaaS platforms (QMS, RIMS, etc.). This reduces friction for embedding data into existing workflows and improves data interoperability across Customer ecosystems.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers
Redica will soon have support for the emerging Model Context Protocol (MCP) standards that enable AI systems to securely interact with enterprise data. Redica MCP servers will provide structured, contextual access for AI Agents and enable real-time retrieval of relevant datasets for AI workflows with fine-grained controls for access permissions. This capability creates new opportunities for customers and partners to embed Redica data into AI-driven workflows, increasing productivity and insights
Inside Redica’s Data
Redica aggregates global regulatory and enforcement data into a unified data model, linked through a proprietary Redica ID. This ensures consistent mapping of sites, inspections, documents, people, and enforcement actions across disparate sources. Data tables are provided to customers as a scema view, with a supporting data dictionary and data descriptions.
Here are some of the fields captured and labeled in the data across our products:
Site Data
- General site details
- Proprietary risk scores by inspection reason, inspection outcome, enforcement actions, inspection length, and type of inspector
Enforcement Document Data
- General 483 metadata
- Observation details mapped to quality systems and risk scores
- Proprietary risk scores by quality system label
People Data
- General inspector or investigator details
- Observation text mapped to inspector or investigator
Inspection Data
- General inspection details of global inspections including outcomes and linked documents.
Enforcement Actions Data
- General enforcement action detail across FDA 483s, Warning Letters, Import Alerts, MHRA Deficiency Reports, etc.
- Citation details including CFR codes, CLIIL codes, Health Canada citations.
Regulatory Documents Data
- General regulatory documents details including rules, guidance, journal articles, announcements, with Redica labeling for industry, scope, and themes.
Redica’s Data-as-a-Service gives you flexible options for integrating regulatory and enforcement data directly into your workflows. Whether you need seamless access through Snowflake, structured file delivery, or quick exploration with Sigma, each approach provides the same trusted datasets enriched with Redica’s risk models and controls. The result is reliable, ready-to-use intelligence that supports better decision-making across compliance, quality, and regulatory teams.
